Un paio di novità con tante farfalle - A couple of news with many butterflies

Ciao a tutti! Chi mi segue su Facebook probabilmente avrà già visto nei giorni scorsi le due creazioni che sto per mostrarvi: un completino da bambina per la stagione fredda composto da scamiciato in denim color rosa pesca chiaro e una maglietta dolcevita a maniche lunghe bordeaux 
Hi all! Those of you who follow me also on Facebook probably already saw the two creations I'm going to show you: a girl outfit for the cold season composed of a pinafore dress in light peach pink denim and a burgundy turtleneck long sleeve t-shirt

L'idea è partita dallo scamiciato, avevo questo tessuto morbidissimo da un po' di tempo, a spina di pesce e dal tocco leggermente vellutato e mi sembrava perfetto per un abito dalla forma svasata. Poi come mio solito mi sono buttata sulle decorazioni: tre farfalle in velluto bianco panna, che ho cucito usando un filo a contrasto bordeaux, e due tasche applicate, anche queste con dettagli in velluto panna e filo bordeaux. 
The idea started from the pinafore dress, I had this soft fabric from asome time, it's a herringbone denim with a velvety touch and it looked perfect for an a-line dress. Then I dived head first into the decorations: three butterflies in off-white velvet, sewn with contrasting burgundy thread, and two applied pockets, again with velvet and burgundy details.

E da qui mi è venuta l'ispirazione per la maglietta: il colore del tessuto, morbidissimo jersey di cotone, è esattamente uguale a quello dei bordi delle farfalle! Ho poi aggiunto altre farfalle, stavolta dipinte a mano, così la maglietta è bella da indossare anche da sola. 
Here came the inspiration for the t-shirt: the color of the fabric, a very soft cotton jersey, is exactly the same of the butterflies borders! Then I added some butterflies here too, this time hand-painted, so the t-shirt is beautiful also when worn alone!

Lo scamiciato ha una vestibilità piuttosto comoda, così nei giorni più freddi si può indossare con sotto un golfino, mentre la maglietta ha una vestibilità aderente in modo da essere comoda senza impacciare.
The pinafore is loose-fitting to allow a light sweater under it in very cold days, while the t-shirt il close-fitting to be comfortable without hampering.

Un nuovo vestito con ciliegie - A new dress with cherries

Sempre più spesso mi arrivano richieste per degli abiti con scollo tondo, pare che siano molto apprezzati come idea regalo non solo per il primo compleanno di una bimba, ma anche come regalo di nascita per le bimbe in arrivo in questi mesi, che potranno indossarli per tutta la prossima estate
More and more frequently I receive requests for dresses with round neckline, it looks like they are much appreciated as gift ideas not only for the first birthday of a little girl but also as present for the newborn babies expected in these months, who will wear it for the whole summer next year

Questa volta ho utilizzato il mio amato cotone stampato con ciliegie, abbinato a tessuto tinta unita bianco e rosso: devo ammettere che ho un debole per queste ciliegie, trovo che siano carinissime!!! 
This time I used my beloved printed cotton with cherries, paired with fabric in solid red and white: I must say I'm partial to these cherries, I think they are too cute!!!

E come sempre ecco la mia etichetta sul fondo, ci tengo a far sapere alle destinatarie che il capo che hanno tra le mani è stato realizzato a mano con tanta cura e amore! 
And as always there is my label on the bottom, I like to make the recipient know that the garment in her hands is made by hand with a lot of care and love!

Fiorellini rosa - Pink flowers

Un nuovo abito con scollo tondo e forma svasata, in taglia 12 mesi: si tratta del regalo per una bellissima bimba che questa estate festeggerà il suo primo compleanno! 
A new dress with round neckline and flared shape, in size 12 months: this is the present for a beautiful little girl who will celebrate her first birthday this summer!

Questa volta il tessuto principale è un cotone stampato con fiori rosa, verde e senape, a cui ho abbinato due tessuti di cotone in tinta unita: rosa acceso e tortora 
This time the main fabric is a printed cotton with pink, green and mustard flowers, that I matched with two plain cotton fabrics: bright pink and dove-grey

La chiusura è sul retro, con piccoli bottoni a pressione in plastica rosa, leggeri e pratici
The closure is on the back, with small plastic snaps, light and handy

Un dettaglio del giro manica: sapete che mi piace curare le mie creazioni fin nei minimi dettagli
A detail of the arm opening: you know I love to pay attention to the smallest details of my creations

Come sempre, ho applicato la mia etichetta sul fondo per far sapere alla mamma che il capo che ha ricevuto è stato realizzato a mano!
As always, I applied my label on the bottom of the dress to let the mother know that the garment she received is handmade!

Le sfumature del mare - The shades of the sea

Questo è il vestito da bambina più grande che abbia realizzato finora: un abito con balze e cappuccio per una bimba che ha appena compiuto sei anni 
This is the biggest children dress I realized till now: a dress with flounces and hood for a girl who just turned six

Mi è stato commissionato con indicazioni molto precise sui colori e sulla decorazione: azzurro per il corpino, bianco, argento e lilla per le balze, decorato con pesciolini dipinti e di strass negli stessi colori 
I've been requested with precise indications on the colours and decoration: light-blue bodice with white, silver and  lilac for the flounces, decorated with fishes partly hand-painted and partly made of rhinestones in the same colours

Questo pesciolino è il mio preferito: gli strass sono molto cangianti, in base a come vengono colpiti dalla luce sembrano azzurri oppure lilla, perfettamente abbinati con i colori del vestito! 
This fish is my favourite one: the strasses are so iridescent, according to how they are hit by the light they appear light-blue or purple, perfectly matching the colours of the dress!

Come confezione regalo, visto che questo abito era un regalo di compleanno, mi è stato richiesto anche un sacchetto di cotone abbinato con il nome della bambina dipinto a mano e nastri di organza per chiuderlo 
As gift wrapping, since this dress was a birthday present, I've been requested also a cotton bag matching the dress with the name of the child hand-painted on it and organdi ribbons as closure

Per puro caso ho scoperto di avere alcune perline di vetro negli stessi colori: non sono perfette?! 
Really by chance I discovered I had some glass beads in the same colours: aren't they perfect?!

Ormai sapete che mi piace realizzare accessori da abbinare ai capi di abbigliamento per bambini, perciò non vi sarà difficile capire che non potevo certo lasciare questo abito lilla senza un degno compare, giusto? 
You already know I like to realize accessories to match the children garments, so it's not difficult to understand that I couldn't leave this lilac dress without a mate, right?

Ce l'ho fatta: dopo mesi di indecisione e di dubbi ho finalmente aperto il mio negozio su Etsy!!!

In realtà dovrei parlare di una riapertura, avevo già aperto il negozio qualche anno fa, dove vendevo gioielli e accessori realizzati a mano, ma un paio di anni fa l'avevo abbandonato perchè le tante novità in vista, due traslochi, inizio della vita da pendolare, matrimonio, mi avrebbero lasciato davvero poco tempo a disposizione per occuparmi del mio negozio come si deve. 
Actually I should talk of a reopening, since I already had a shop years ago, to sell handmade jewels and accessories, but a couple of years ago I left it because the many changes in sight, two movings, the beginning of my commuter life, marriage, would have left me little time to dedicate to my shop as it ought to be. 

Ora però mi sono abituata ai nuovi ritmi e ho deciso di riaprire i battenti. Nel frattempo ho anche iniziato a dedicarmi alla creazione di abbigliamento per bambini e bambine accantonando, almeno per il momento, orecchini, collane e bracciali. Perciò troverete un negozio tutto nuovo, grafica diversa, target diverso, l'unica cosa che non troverete cambiata è la mia passione per i colori! 
But now that I got used to the new pace I decided to open it again. Meanwhile I started to create children's clothing for boys and girls putting aside, at least for the moment, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. So you'll find a brand new shop, different layout, different target, the only unchanged thing is my love for colours! 

San Patrizio per caso - St Patrick by chance

Pochi giorni fa ho realizzato un nuovo abito con balze e cappuccio utilizzando alcuni bellissimi tessuti in tre sfumature di verde che avevo comprato di recente: sapete che il verde è il mio colore preferito (si vede anche dal template del blog!) così quando li ho visti non ho saputo resistere alla tentazione
Few days ago I realized a new dress with flounces and hood using some wonderful fabric in three shades of green that I bought recently: you know green is my favourite colour (you can see it even from the blog template!) so when I saw them I couldn't resist the temptation

Solo dopo aver completato il vestito mi sono accorta che Pinterest si sta gradualmente riempiendo di creazioni tutte accomunate dal colore verde: ma certo, a breve sarà San Patrizio! 
Only after completing the dress I noticed that Pinterest is gradually filling with creations in green colour: of course, soon it'll be St Patrick's day! 

Anteprima di primavera - Spring preview

Il clima di questi giorni non è molto propizio, ma io sento già aria di primavera! 
In the last days the weather was not really good, but I already feel spring is coming!

Così oggi vi presento la prima creazione della collezione primavera/estate 2015:
Therefore, today I'm showing you the first creation of the spring/summer collection 2015: 

Un abito smanicato, allegro e leggero, taglia 18 mesi: è perfetto per l'estate ma anche per le mezze stagioni: abbinandolo con un paio di collant o leggins e un golfino di cotone avrete un outfit unico. La forma del vestito è svasata, con scollo rotondo e piccole pieghe sul davanti, la lunghezza è appena sopra il ginocchio 
A sleaveless dress, happy and light, size 18 months: it's perfect for summer but also for warm seasons like spring and fall: you can match it with a pair of leggins or stockings and a cotton sweater and you will get a unique outfit. The dress shape is flared, with round neckline and small pleats on the front, the length is just above the knee

Il tessuto principale è un cotone stampato a fiori nei toni del verde con tocchi di ocra e rosa, a cui ho abbinato due tessuti di cotone a tinta unita: tortora per la fascia più alta e verde menta per la fascia più bassa e lo scollo del vestito
The main fabric is a printed cotton with flowers in green shades and touches of mustard and pink, which I matched with two plain cottons: dove-grey for the higher stripe and mint green for the lower stripe and the neckline

La chiusura sul retro è costituita da quattro bottoni a pressione verdi
The closure on the back is made of four green snaps

Come sempre ogni dettaglio è rifinito con cura
As usual every detail is finished off with care

Questo è solo un assaggio degli abiti che presenterò a breve, ma posso già anticiparvi che la nuova collezione sarà caratterizzata da capi colorati, comodi, allegri e unici in puro stile RobyGiup! 
This is only a foretaste of the creations I'll present soon, but I can reveal in advance that the new collection will be characterized by colourful, comfortable, happy and unique pieces of clothing in pure RobyGiup style!
