Decorazioni per l'albero quasi finite! Devo solo realizzarne altre 5 o 6 e applicare i brillantini sulla stoffa di parecchie stelle.
Decorations for Christmas tree quite finished! I only have to make other 5 or 6 and apply sparlklings to the fabric of many stars.   

Al solito, le foto non sono il massimo... uffi... Riuscirò mai a fare foto decenti???
As usual, pictures are not so good... sigh... Will I ever be good at taking beautiful pictures???

Scintillante! - Sparkling!

Tanti strass scintillanti e grandissimi (circa 3cm) per rendere ancora più festose le decorazioni per l'albero di Natale!
Lots of sparkling and very large strass (about 1.2in) to make even more joyous the decorations for the Christmas tree!   

Dove verranno montati?

Mercatino di Natale - Christmas market

Mi era stato chiesto di realizzare un'altra borsa della spesa di stoffa per un mercatino di Natale (vedi questo post). Questo weekend l'ho finalmente portata a mia mamma perchè la consegni a sua volta alla richiedente.
I was requested to sew another fabric shopping bag for a Christmas market (see this post). This weekend I delivered it to my mother, who will deliver it to the requester.
 
Scusate la foto scattata di corsa ma mi sono dimenticata di farla prima, qui ero già in partenza per la stazione e non potevo dedicare troppo tempo alle foto. Tra l'altro stava anche piovendo...
Sorry for the hurried picture but I forgot to take it before, here I was leaving to the train station and had not time enough for pictures. And it was raining too...

Notato che belli i colori delle foglie sullo sfondo???

Riguardo alla borsa, la stoffa è la BRITTEN HUS dell'Ikea, come quella che ho usato per la borsa del moroso, ma stavolta in versione nera con casette bianche e qualche tocco di colore qua e là. La fodera interna è ricavata da una federa sempre IKEA, color un giallo pallido.
Regarding the bag, the fabric is the BRITTEN HUS from IKEA, like the one I used for the bag for my boyfriend, but this time it is black with white houses and some dashes of color here and there. The lining is made with a light yellow pillowcase from IKEA.

Si parte! Regali di Natale, un po' per i miei amici e un po' realizzati su richiesta.
Let's start! Christmas presents, some for my friends and some realized on requests. 

Giusto un assaggio, non posso mica far vedere tutto in anteprima! Altrimenti che sorpresa sarebbe???

Ispirazione - Inspiration

Ho visto in  questo post di Cucicucicoo una bellissima maglia per la gravidanza che volendo si può usare anche se non si è incinta.
I found on this post from Cucicucicoo a gorgeous maternity shirt that can fit also non-pregnant girls.

Ho subito pensato che potrebbe essere un'ottima idea regalo per una futura mamma: qualcosa che possa usare ora ma anche dopo la nascita del/la bimbo/a!
I suddenly thought it could be a great gift idea for a future mom: something she can use now but also after the birth of the baby!

Sono quasi decisa a farla per una amica, ho già comprato il pattern ($5), sabato se riesco faccio un salto in un paio di negozi di stoffe e vedo se c'è una stoffa adeguata!
I'm quite sure to make it for a friend, I already bought the pattern ($5), on saturday I will have a look in a couple of fabric shops to look for an appropriate fabric!

Spilla "Autunno" - "Autumn" brooch

Ecco la prima delle nuove creazioni di cui parlavo nei giorni scorsi: ho unito molte delle tecniche e materiali che mi piacciono!
Here is the first of the creations I was talking about in the last days: I put together many of the techniques and materials I like!

Spilla / ferma-sciarpa a tema "Autunno": struttura in metallo color bronzo con catenelle bronzo e pendenti a forma di foglia nelle gradazioni rosso/arancio, proprio come le foglie che vediamo in questo periodo sugli alberi!
Brooch / scarf-holder in "Autumn" theme: base structure in bronze-coloured metal with bronze chains and glass leaves in red/orange nuances, just like the leaves we can see in this period on trees!

La spilla è impreziosita da una applicazione laterale formata da un fiore di feltro rosso, un fiore all'uncinetto giallo con centro di paillettes, una foglia di feltro arancio e una doppia foglia in feltro giallo e cotone giallo vivo, con venatura rosso metallizzato.
The brooch is embellished by an application on one side: a red felt flower, a yellow crochet flower with paillettes centre, an orange felt leaf and a double leaf in yellow felt and bright yellow cotton fabric, with shiny red vein.

Perfetta per questa stagione! Si può utilizzare come ferma-sciarpa oppure per decorare un caldo maglione di lana o un bel cappotto.
Perfect for this season! Can be used as scarf-holder or to decor a warm sweather or a nice coat.
