Maglia premaman 3 - Maternity shirt 3

Ed ecco l'ultima maglia premaman (per ora!), realizzata in tutta fretta per essere pronta per Pasqua. 

Here is the last (for the moment!) maternity shirt, realized in a hurry to be ready for Easter.

Mi sono innamorata della maglina fantasia bordeaux appena l'ho vista, ma non riuscivo a trovare una stoffa da abbinare, l'unica che avevo trovato dello stesso colore era decisamente troppo pesante. Poi mi è venuto in mente che avrei potuto utilizzare lo stesso jersey lilla della seconda maglia: ne ho avanzato tantissimo! 

I fell in love with the printed bordeaux jersey as soon as I saw it, but I couldn't find a matching fabric, the only one I saw of the same colour was really too heavy. Then I thought I could use the lilac jersey of the second shirt: I have a huge quantity left!

Ecco qui il retro (come vedete ho dovuto mettere il reggiseno al manichino per far tornare le misure esatte). 

Here is the back (as you can see I had to put a bra on the dressform to reach the right size)

In realtà la maglia in queste foto non è completa, mancano due bottoni cangianti nei toni del viola e bordeaux che ho cucito in treno appena prima di consegnare la maglia! Li ho applicati nella parte davanti delle spalline, proprio qui 

Actually the shirt in these pictures is not completed, it is missing two buttons in purple and bordeaux shades that I sewn while I was on the train just before deliverying the shirt! I applied them in the front part of the straps, right here

L'idea di partenza era di aggiungere una fascia di jersey in fondo in modo da creare un effetto "a palloncino" ma una volta vista la maglia così mi è sembrata troppo bella. Comunque una volta che il pancione sarà cresciuto la aggiungerò, per evitare che la parte inferiore rimanga scoperta.

The idea was to add a jersey stripe in the bottom to create a "bubble" effect but once I saw the shirt as it is now I thought it was too cute this way. By the way I'll add the stripe once the belly will be bigger, to avoid leaving the bottom part bare.

Rispetto al modello di partenza ho aggiunto le arricciature sotto il seno, fatte cucendo con la macchina da cucire con il filo elastico, così la maglia ha una forma più definita pur restando molto comoda. 

Starting from the base pattern I added the gathering under the breast, realized sewing with the sewing machine and elastic thread, so the shirt has a more defined shape but still remaining very comfortable.

L'idea in più? Utilizzare la seconda maglia sopra a questa, almeno fino a quando non si deciderà a fare più caldo! Stanno benissimo insieme! 

The additional idea? Using the second shirt on top if this one, until the weather will become a bit hotter! They are wonderful together!
