Altro regalo - Another present

Set invernale per bimba composto da muffole, cuffietta e sciarpa. La misura è circa 18 mesi, ho preso le misure ad occhio guardando alle bimbe di amici.
Toddler winter outfit consisting of mittens, bonnet and scarf. The size is approx 18 months, I took the measurements by eye looking at my friend's children. 

La stoffa è una felpa MOLTO morbida (me ne sono innamorata non appena l'ho toccata!!!) azzurra a scacchi gialli, rosa e verdi. Questo set è per una bimba, ma non mi piacciono gli outfit tutto-rosa-perchè-è-femmina! Avrei voluto usare una maglina gialla per i dettagli, ma l'unica che ho trovato non era molto morbida, per cui ho optato per una verde che si abbina perfettamente con gli scacchi della felpa.
The fabric is a VERY soft fleece (I just fell in love with it the first time I touched it!!!) in light blue with yellow, pink and green checks. The outfit is for a girl, but I don't like all-pink-for-girls outfits! I planned to use yellow jersey for the details, but the only one I found was not very soft, so I decided to use a green jersey, perfectly matching with the fleece checks.

La cuffia è un rettangolo completamente foderato di maglina, con due angoli arrricciati per formare due piccole orecchie! Non sono carinissime??? 
The bonnet is a rectangle completely lined in jersey, with two gathered corners to create small ears on the top! Aren't they cute???

Le muffole sono bordate di maglina e hanno un elastico morbido per evitare che scivolino via. Su ciascuna ho applicato un bottone in tinta con la maglina, che può essere usato per attaccarla ad un cordino verde per evitare che i guanti vadano persi.
The mittens are refined on the bottom border with the jersey and have a soft elastic band to hold them in place. On each one I put a button matching with the jersey that can be used to secure the mittens at a long light-green string to avoid loosing the mittens.

La sciarpa è un semplice rettangolo bordato di maglina. Visto che la felpa è spessa e scivolosa non sono riuscita a cucire il bordo a macchina... l'ho cucito tutto a mano! "Fortunatamente" sono stata a casa una settimana a causa del mal di schiena così ho avuto tempo sufficiente, altrimenti non sarei mai riuscita a completarla per Natale!
Ad una estremità ho applicato un piccolo fiore in colore contrastante e un bottone uguale a quelli dei guanti. All'altra estremità c'è la mia etichetta "RobyGiup handmade"! 
The scarf is a simple rectangle refined on the borders with the jersey. Since the fleece is quite tick and slippery I was not able to sew it with my sewing machine... I had to hand sew it! "Luckily" I was at home one week due to back-ache so I had time enough for it, otherwise it would never be ready for Christmas!
On one side there is a small flower in contrasting fabric and a button matching with the ones on the mittens. On the other side there is my label "RobyGiup handmade"!
