Il bello di saper cucire - The best of being able to sew

Io ho gusti molto difficili in fatto di abbigliamento, soprattutto riguardo ai jeans: li cerco attillati, leggermente larghi in fondo, elasticizzati, a vita bassa-ma-non-troppo e soprattutto devo sentirmici bene dentro. Ovviamente devo sempre girare un sacco di negozi, c'è sempre qualcosina che non va in quelli che provo. Sono proprio difficile! 
I have very difficult tastes about clothing, especially about jeans: I like them close-fitting, slightly large in the bottom part of the legs, stretch, low-but-not-too-low waisted and most of all I nedd to feel comfortable in them. Obviously I always have to look in several shops, there always something wrong. I'm so choosy! 


Settimana scorsa ho provato un paio di jeans in cui mi sentivo proprio bene, MA c'era un dettaglio che non mi andava (ovvio!): erano troppo scampanati in fondo, e un tantino troppo lunghi. Ed ecco qual è il bello di saper cucire! Li ho comprati e ieri sera li ho sistemati: accorciati e stretto la gamba. Ora sono perfetti! Proprio come li cercavo!
Last week I found a pair of jeans where I felt very comfortable, BUT there was a wrong detail (obviously!): they were too large in the bottom, and a bit too long. That's the best of being able to sew! I bought them and yesterday evening I modified them: shortened and tightened the legs. Now they are perfect!
