Seconda torta di pannolini - Second diaper cake

Visto che la torta di pannolini realizzata a gennaio è risultata un regalo molto apprezzato, anche il mio nipotino ne ha ricevuta una! E questa volta ha collaborato alla realizzazione anche il neo-zio, alias il mio moroso! :)
Since the diaper cake realized in January was really appreciated, also my nephew received one! And this time the cake is realized in collaboration with the neo-uncle, alias my boyfriend! :)

Eccola qui, realizzata sempre con la stessa tecnica (il link al tutorial si trova nel post della prima torta) e decorata con un bel nastro cobalto intenso. 
Here it is, realized with the same technique (the link to the tutorial is in the post of the first cake) and decorated with a deep cobalt ribbon. 

La tecnica è diversa dalla maggioranza delle torte di pannolini che ho visto in giro per la rete. Io preferisco questo tipo di torta perchè non mi convince l'idea di arrotolare ogni singolo pannolino su se stesso: ho paura che si formino delle pieghe che poi alterino l'assorbenza, soprattutto se la torta non viene disfatta subito ma viene tenuta per un po' di tempo in bella vista come soprammobile, come capitato per la prima torta! Con questa tecnica invece i pannolini assumono solo una leggera curvatura, credo sia più sicuro. 
The technique is different from most of the diaper cakes I saw in internet. I prefer this kind of cake because I'm not convinced to wrap each single diaper on itself: I fear the absorbency could be reduced by the creases, in particular if the cake is not immediately unwrapped but is kept in full view as an ornament, as it happened for the first cake! With this technique the diapers are only slightly bent, I think it's safer in this way.

Anche stavolta ho utilizzato dei pannolini senza cloro, realizzati in Mater-Bi (quella specie di plastichina fatta con il mais), OGM-free, 70% biodegradabili. 
Also this time I used clorine-free diapers, made in Mater-Bi (that sort of "plastic" made from corn), OGM-free, 70% biodegradable. 

Qui trovate il tutorial per realizzare il decoro che si trova in cima alla torta, realizzato con avanzi di nastro (quelli del fiocco nascita) e pezzetti di cimosa (della stoffa utilizzata per la fascia ad anelli).
